How to take deposits and payment links for bookings

This guide shows how a booking in Kadaleo gets paid: a payment link, a deposit or an invoice through Stripe, with cards and MB WAY, and the paid status on the same customer record as the booking. It is for service businesses such as salons, clinics and restaurants. The steps build on online booking and payments and on the AI customer agent.

Step by step

  1. Connect Stripe

Connect Stripe to your business. Stripe takes cards and MB WAY, and it is what invoices, payment links and deposits run on. The channels and accounts page lists Stripe with the other accounts you connect.

  2. Set up your services and available times

Set up your services, staff and resources, and your available times. A visit takes an open slot with the right person or resource.

  3. A booking arrives

A visitor picks a service and an available time on your website, or a customer writes in one of your messaging channels, where the Kadaleo agent books open slots. The booking becomes a contact with its history and a deal.

  4. Choose how to be paid

Send a payment link, ask for a deposit or send an invoice through Stripe. Customers pay by card or with MB WAY.

  5. See the paid status

The deposit, invoice and paid status stay on the same record as the booking, and the paid status updates on the customer's record.

  6. Refund when needed

    Refunds also go through Stripe.

  7. Follow up after the visit

Kadaleo can ask for feedback and send one invitation to book again, only to customers who agreed to receive it.
